I am so excited to share these images with you!! New World Bistro Bar is a family owned business in Albany New York, and a perfect date night spot, a great girls dinner night out or a quick pre movie cocktail bar. The super talented Chef Ric Orlando (ummmmm remember the two time Chopped CHAMPION???!) brings his amazing cuisine to the table and the food is creative and unlike anything I’ve had anywhere else.
I spent the day at New World Bistro Bar with a team of people including the bar tender, pastry chef and Ric himself styling, photographing and TASTING these beautiful dishes! Enjoy– and don’t drool on your computer 🙂
Let me begin by introducing Annette Nanes, the owner of New World Bistro Bar and is shown here with Chef Ric Orlando. I thank you both of welcoming me so warmly into your restaurant- it was a pleasure working with you both!
Ric has a great sense of humor and was all on board when I suggested we do something a little untraditional with his headshot. DUCK!!
Annette was a rockstar in front of my camera as well. And by the number of “likes” her photo got on my Facebook page, I’m not the only one who thought so!
Now….the food!!! I must add how impressed I am with their menu, offering vegetarian, vegan and even gluten free options that are out of this world. You’d never miss a thing!
Appetizers include four different flavors of hummus with flat bread.
Korean BBQ Pork Belly
Pulled Lamb Shepherd’s Pie
“Texi” Crusted Creekstone Farm Pastured NY Strip Steak
My personal favorite, Cioppino!!!
And not only is this my favorite part of any meal, its my favorite image from the entire gallery;
The DESSERT spread!!
Here’s an up close look at the Creme Brulee and the Bread Pudding, I couldn’t choose between them!
And no meal at New World Bistro Bar would be complete without…something from the Bar! While they have a terrific wine list and draft beer selection, the specialty cocktails and super yum and so so pretty!
Thank you again to everyone involved in making this photoshoot as successful as it was. I can not wait to return as a guest and taste some more off the menu!
